Strategic Approach

Our Priorities

Over the last dozen years, Unbound Philanthropy has honed our Theory of Change to maximize the impact of our investments in a complex and fast-paced environment of political and culture change.

We focus our work in three areas.

These strategies are highly interconnected. We align our work at a high level across the US and UK, and tailor our programs to respond to country-specific contexts.

Activating public support is essential to creating conditions that will ensure an immigration system rooted in justice and that honors the dignity of all human beings; and where immigrants and their neighbors work together to build vibrant communities and find common ground.

We place as much emphasis on culture as we do on organizing and policy-influencing activities. As a foundation, we believe that all of these strategies build strength for each other, they all need to be supported, and the approaches need to be integrated.

ACTIVATE Public Support

We seek to activate public support for an immigration system rooted in justice and a welcoming society.

Measuring Our Impact

We have a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning framework to measure our impact, and to inform our strategy and its implementation. We partner with evaluation consultants Learning for Action and Ignatius Bau in the US and Liz Griffin of Hidden Depths in the UK to carry out our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning work.
